2022 WORCA Sponsorship Opportunities
The WORCA team is busy making plans for 2022 operations and we are excited to let you know about the following sponsorship opportunities:

General Sponsorship
Toonie Rides
For 2022 we are planning to run a mix of in-person and virtual Toonie Rides.
Regular Toonie Rides: After being restricted to virtual Toonies for the past two years, there is a lot of pent-up demand for regular in-person events. We usually require a few different sponsors for each event to provide the following: one sponsor to provide course marshalls and to set up and remove directional signs on the course; one or two sponsors for an après venue, food and drinks; and there is the option for one or more sponsors to provide prizes.
Virtual Toonie Rides: We have received feedback from lots of our members requesting that we continue to offer some virtual Toonie Rides. For each of these we require one sponsor to provide prizes and another sponsor to provide après deals.

Trail Nights
We will be running our volunteer trail nights every Tuesday from spring through to fall and the main project will be completing the new Flashback trail in Cheakamus (https://www.trailforks.com/trails/flashback-3/).
NEW for 2022:
The cost to sponsor each trail night will be $500.
The $500 sponsorship fee will cover $250 to pay trail builders to set up and run each trail night and $250 for food and drinks for the volunteers. WORCA will take on the responsibility of purchasing the food and drinks.

The Back Forty
The inaugural Back Forty was a huge success in 2021 and we are planning to run this event again in June 2022.

Offering discounts to WORCA members
If you are a local business that can offer discounts to WORCA members, please let us know! This could be the same as an existing 'locals' discount that you offer or a different deal.
We will promote your business by having a section on our website dedicated to these discounts and highlighting this in our newsletter and social media posts. All WORCA members have access to an online membership card in their Amilia account, so they can show this as proof to obtain discounts.
General Sponsorship
If you would like your logo to appear on our Sponsors website page, you can reach the different categories by a combination of the different sponsorship options (calculate the total value of your contribution for Toonies/Trail Nights/Special Events and let me know) and/or by making a separate cash donation.
We promote our sponsors through our website, newsletters and social media channels and we can work on specific details with each individual sponsor.
