Trail Work Update: 21 July 2017
[heading]Trail Work Update: 21 July 2017[/heading]The trimming and choking program continued this week with de-branching on "Sirloin", "Darwin's", "Korova Milkbar" and "A Rockwork Orange". TRAFFIC JAM: Twenty or so DFX kids put on quite a circus trying to negotiate that one right-hander move on "A Rockwork Orange"... Thanks for the show!Needing to escape the heat, we pushed our bikes up "Lord of the Squirrels" to get it primed before the grand opening (date to be determined). What an epic commute! T'was 2 hours up to our tools (they were at 1400m) I'm hoping we'll be ready to ride all the way to the lake by next weekend (July 29). Thanks for your patience! We had an honorary member with the trail crew this week! Our friend Rob spent the week volunteering with us all over the valley. He helped Scott dry-lock some really nice rock-work on "Comfortably Numb" and shared the load feeding the black flies on "Lord of the Squirrels". What a vacation! Also: Hopefully the rain keeps on sprinkling the dust off of the berries!Dan Raymond, WORCA Trail Builder[Best_Wordpress_Gallery id="5" gal_title="Trail Work Update: 21 July 2017"]
