WORCA launches Youth Coach Training Program

[heading]WORCA launches Youth Coach Training Program[/heading]During the summer months WORCA hosts 5-day youth dirt camps, fully coached to support youth aged 5 to 16 years. WORCA recruits full-time and part-time adult coaches who have a passion for mountain biking and inspiring the next generation of riders.WORCA has established a Youth Coach Training Program to provide local youth who want to pursue a career in coaching with valuable vocational work experience. The program offers youth aged 16-17 years old with up to 4 weeks of work experience assisting the adult coaches at the Child Dirt Camps.Because adult camp coaches are required to have their PMBI Level 1 WORCA is offering Youth Coach Training Program participants an honorarium which, if all 4 weeks are completed, will cover the cost of the pre-requisite PMBI Level 1 Course.
