Trails Update: May 25th, 2023
Short Week!
The crew finished repairs on the climbing sections of Business Time (for now). Our goal was to render the eroded sections back to their original tread level. This involved moving a lot of rock! Reilly and Adam muled all afternoon feeding Renee tetris blocks and the resulting ramp is a doozy! The dirt we found was already shockingly dry (as are the trails btw) and looked more like icing sugar… pray for more rain! PS: the “drop” into AM/PM got a little bigger (still rollable)
Flashback
We spent Tuesday on Flashback, performing repairs in the currently open section before heading to the Tuesday dig night hosted by Yoann Barelli. Yoann is known for his Into the GNAR riding and it was funny to have him digging on a 4 foot wide climbing section of a blue trail! Great progress was made and the finished product looks mint! Ben made it the best dig night ever by bringing sour patch kids and Coast Mountain Brewing raspberry sour gose! Next week we’re hosting 2 (!) trail nights: Monday is a special Women’s Dig Night, plus our regular Tuesday event. Remember to sign up!
