labor day!
After an action packed long weekend, I must admit that I really appreciate the following short workweek! We’re still in Danimal North… rushing to give it a final buff for the Westside Wheelup. “Tall Michal” performed an intricate repair on one of the high bermed bridges. The rising portion was caked in moisture trapping tree litter. This accelerated its demise compared to the elevated portion… although 20 years ain’t bad! We cleaned up that feature’s exit - We now have a smoother dismount and easier ride-around for woodwork averse riders. “Short Michal” added a flat segment next to the wall ride-like bridge where we found evidence of tires and boots through the creek. With all of the bridges complete, the entire crew focused on rockwork, improving the armoring through to the exit. We’re not quite done with this redesign though, the “bumpy straight-away” will get its new turns after the Wheelup…
