2020 Call for Nominations for the Board of Directors
The 2020 WORCA AGM will be on September 28th and there will be several positions up for election. We will be searching for people to fill vacant board positions for Race Director and Fundraising Director. These are both one-year terms. Other positions up for election, with the current directors seeking re-election, are as follows: President and Treasurer (both two-year terms); Trails, Planning, Events, PR and Advocacy (all one-year terms).

Nominations must be submitted in advance. Your submission will be shared with members at least two weeks before the AGM so that they have time to consider information about all applicants before they vote at the AGM.
If you would like to apply, please send your nomination by Wednesday September 9th to info@worca.com with the following information:
Your name and the position(s) you are running for.
The skills/experience that make you a strong candidate for the position.
Your capacity to commit to a volunteer role, and why you are interested in being on the WORCA Board.
Full names of two current WORCA members who support your nomination.
In order to apply to become a director, you must satisfy the following eligibility requirements:
Be a current WORCA member in good standing
Be at least 18 years of age
Capable of managing your own affairs
Are not undergoing bankruptcy
Have not been convicted of fraud or a corporate offence within the last five years
