"EVERESTING" LORD OF THE SQUIRRELS

Karsten Madsen is an absolute BEAST! The Whistler local gained attention last year by attempting to "Everest" Into the Mystic / Lord of the Squirrels. And on Tuesday, August 3rd Black's Pub is showing a film about it called "Everesting Lord Of the Squirrels - The Movie".

"Everesting" is the term used to describe an activity where the athlete attempts to climb the elevation of Mount Everest (8,848 metres)!

Karsten rode Stonebridge > Sirloin > Darwin's > Flank > Into Mystic > On the Rocks > Lord of the Squirrels a whopping 6 times in 1 go!! Think about that....how did you feel doing it once? Karsten did it 6 times! Almost as impressive were his fundraising efforts which went directly to WORCA to help maintain our network of trails. Karsten raised $13,000!

The movie is an interesting look into Karsten's impressive feat. Tickets are limited to just 100 people, so make sure to register here ASAP. All proceeds will again go to WORCA. Thanks Karsten!
